The Jordi Labs team is pleased to announce that we are moving further into the area of biological evaluation consulting. Our goal is to provide guidance on the biological evaluation process for medical devices and pharmaceutical products. To meet our mission of offering the highest quality of service in this brand-new sector, we have invited Taryn Meade on board to be our Director of Biological Evaluation Consulting.
Introducing our Newest Team Member
Taryn is a powerhouse in the field of biological evaluation, having worked in biocompatibility science since 2014. She worked as Senior Biocompatibility Engineer until 2020, providing management and technical leadership to the North American biocompatibility team of her previous employer, before spending 2021 as Staff Biocompatibility Engineer. With a Masters of Arts in Bioethics, her rapid career trajectory, and her evident expertise in this area makes her the perfect fit for spearheading our own biological consulting service.
Taryn participated in the development of ISO 10993 standards for biological safety evaluations of medical devices through the US technical advisory group, and has supported global biocompatibility harmonization initiatives across North America, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. She also has extensive experience managing various areas of biocompatibility and microbiology.
